Our History & Vision
Founded with a deep commitment to social justice, the Kgothatso Foundation began as a small grassroots movement. We saw the systemic inequalities holding our youth back and knew intervention was required at the community level.
Today, our vision expands beyond simple aid. We envision a future where every child has access to quality education, where families do not have to worry about their next meal, and where young adults are empowered with the skills to break the cycle of poverty. Through direct action, continuous funding, and the dedication of our volunteers, we are building a foundation of hope that will stand the test of time.

Learn More About Our Mission
Child Support & Protection
Our flagship program honors vulnerable infants by providing emergency support and essentials, connecting families with medical services and trauma counseling. We partner with organizations to ensure every child has access to critical support.
Educational Enrichment and Academic Support
We focus on after-school academic assistance across core subjects like Maths and Science, run digital literacy workshops, and prepare over 300 students each year for coding and blockchain fundamentals, mentorship, and leadership programs.
Youth Empowerment & GBV Prevention
Through partnerships, we facilitate workshops on healthy masculinity, conflict resolution, and healing for families affected by violence, aimed at fostering positive relationships and community resilience.
Food Security & Humanitarian Support
Our food security initiatives provide necessary nutrition to those in need, including monthly food parcels for elderly households and emergency hunger relief efforts, ensuring no one faces hunger alone.
